Ethan, he is scared to death of his spider Halloween costume, but, loves this mask (in short spurts), go figure...if he would wear it long enough, this would be his costume this year :)

Daddy's Birthday and...

I Know I should make one post all about Daddy's Birthday but, I do not feel like making two post so there are some random pictures that will share this post with Daddy's Birthday :)

Yesterday Daddy turned the big 31!! We had a delicious meal of Daddy's favorite...lobster and crap legs! YUMMY!! Followed by cake baked and decorated by none other than Mommy, Caleb, Ethan and Dylan. It really was a nice night and everyone (just about) slept through the night, which always mean celebration at our house!

Happy Birthday Aron, I love you very much and I am extremely happy to be raising these three wonderful boys with you!!

Our stunning cake...

Not so sure what Ethan was doing? Playing Hockey?

Look at how big Caleb looks in this picture :(

I brought the boys water table in, filled it with moon sand...and...they love it!

Halloween Party

Sunday Aunt D threw a Halloween Party for the boys, I provided the location and a few snacks and she planned the rest. It was a fantastic day. The kids had a blast playing together, doing crafts and eating endless junk food!

I have to say, I was bad and did not get pictures of all the kids dressed up :(
But, I did get one each of my boys before there costumes got torn off. I think that Caleb is the only one that will be wearing a costume on Halloween...the twins HATED theirs...especially Ethan.
Caleb and my little devil, Dylan...

Ethan really hated his and did not wear it for long at all...

We had some really good food!
I made Chocolate spiders...

Salty bones...

and ghost and pumpkin quesadillas...

Aunt D made Mummy pizzas...

Pumpkin cornbread which made a perfect companion for the delicious chili she made...

and cupcakes...

Josie made YUMMY coffee flan with a spider web and spiders...

Chris made ghoulish punch...

and Mi-Mi made bleeding eyeballs...

These spooktaular treats along with lots of others not shown made for some very full bellies.

We had plenty of crafts planned for the kids and they loved it all...
Coloring their pumpkin flash lights...

Decorating pumpkins, this was a big hit for all ages...

And decorating rice krispie treat pops...

They took plenty of breaks for some outside play...

It really was a great day and the kids had sooo much fun!! Thank you Aunt D for planning such a great party!!!

Helping Daddy with leaf clean up

When I was at work the boys helped Aron clean up the leaves in the front yard, they had a ball playing in the leaves and stuffing their spider leaf bag.

These last three pictures Caleb took. He is really into taking pictures and I must say he is not so bad, the picture or Dylan on the front steps came out pretty good, could Dylan look any more pathetic?

pumpkin picking, corn maze...a great fall day!

I love the fall!!

Saturday we headed out to get pumpkins, hit up the corn maze and enjoy a beautiful fall day, it was perfect, the weather was great and the leaves had started to change.

The maze was long and the boys got tired towards the end so poor Aron ended up with one child on his shoulders and one in his arms and I carried the other but, the boys had a ball running through the corn!

The boys had a lot of fun looking at all the pumpkins, we settled on one giant pumpkin which we will be carving this week and a couple really little ones for the boys to "play" with.

Then they had some fun posing for some photos...

And really enjoyed their tasty apples on the ride home...

It truly was the perfect fall day, I think we all agreed on that!

(and I am sure you have noticed I am trying out the new Picasa 3, I am loving the new layouts!)

The Beach

On Friday we took our final trip down to the ocean for the season, soon snow will be falling and it will be too cold. We love the shore, there is just something about spending the day at the beach, even if it is a little chilly! This was a perfect day, we headed down with Mi-Mi and Aunt D.

Then we had some lunch and the boys ran around and played -

Caleb even took a peak at New York, over the ocean -

Next we headed up to the roof for a scenic walk overlooking the ocean -

Caleb really wanted to sit in what he called the tire trees -

This is the best shot we could get of Aunt D, Mi-Mi and the boys (it was kind of funny to get them all to pay attention)

It was such a nice day and even though a little chilly and windy it was nice for it to not be hot and sticky. And we came home with a good deal of sea glass and some cool shells.

A little side note - (You may notice that lately I get way more pictures of Ethan than I do of Dylan that is because every time I point the camera at Dylan he turns away whereas Ethan loves to get his picture taken.)
